Your documents translated and certified
Sworn translators and interpreters, over 70 languages, a firm quote within 1 hour. Your translations are accepted by the Belgian authorities and by the Tournai division of the Hainaut court of first instance. The border is ten kilometres away here: we also rework a Belgian document into the terms of the French authorities, and Dutch remains the language of the Flemish neighbours. Our interpreters travel from Mouscron to Lessines, or join you by video link.
Our sworn translators and interpreters work with
Translators and interpreters listed in the national register of judicial experts · Legalisation at the FPS Justice handled for you
Sworn or plain on the translation side, on site or remote on the interpreting side. Your file goes to the linguist in your field, and the price lands in under an hour.
Choose a category: if your document is listed, we translate it, and we have the translator's signature legalised at the FPS Justice where that is required.

From your first message to delivery, everything is handled remotely. You know at any moment where your file stands and what it will cost.
Form, email or phone, whichever suits you. A photograph of the document taken on your phone is enough to set a price, provided it is legible. Nothing obliges you to come here.
Amount, delivery date, chosen format, sworn or plain, and the language for which an interpreter is confirmed. You pay nothing to get that quote and sign nothing to turn it down.
On the date announced, the signed PDF lands in your inbox. The stamped paper copy goes by registered post whenever the counter insists on it. The interpreter turns up on site having already read the file.
We know what the population departments of the sixteen municipalities, the notaries' offices and the Tournai division of the court actually check. That spares you refusals and second visits.
A Belgian document does not slot straight into a French file. A town hall, a family allowance office or a notary in the Lille area has never heard of a bourgmestre, a household composition certificate or a national register number. We put those notions into the words used by the office that will read the paper, with a note wherever no equivalent exists. The same work happens in reverse before a certificate issued in France reaches our own counters.
The text is written by a linguist whose mother tongue is the target language, then gone over line by line by a reviser who had no hand in the first draft. As soon as the paper is destined for a court registry, a notary's office or a town hall counter, the stamp comes from a translator listed on the national register of court experts, who takes personal responsibility for it.
Sixty minutes after your message you have the price, the delivery date and, for an interpreting assignment, the confirmed language. A text that turns out denser than announced, or a meeting that runs over, stays our problem. We never come back to revise an amount you have already accepted.
The account manager and the linguist have access, nobody else. The whole network works under a confidentiality agreement, hosting sits inside the European Union and follows the GDPR, and one message from you wipes everything. If your firm has its own undertaking to sign, send it before the papers: we sign first.
Our interpreters travel at no mileage cost across the sixteen municipalities we serve, from Mouscron to Lessines. Having a document translated is settled at a distance, wherever you are.
Private clients, firms, SMEs and public authorities across the province.
“I was pleading in Dutch before the Tournai division and the translation of three annexes was still missing. Everything came back stamped within the deadline, and the registry had nothing to say about it.”
Benoît L.
Lawyer, Tournai
“My daughter was enrolling at a school in France and the town hall there stumbled over our Belgian papers. They reworded what does not exist across the border, the household composition above all, and the file went through.”
Naïma E.
Private client, Mouscron
“We sell on both sides of the border and our packaging has to be right in two languages. The regulatory terminology stayed exactly as it appears in our own files.”
Xavier D.
Food processing, Leuze-en-Hainaut
“A Ukrainian family turned up on a Saturday without an appointment. Someone picked up the line and the intake interview went ahead the same day.”
Delphine C.
Community health centre, Kain
“Sale of a house to a Dutch-speaking couple from Kortrijk. A sworn interpreter was found for the signing and we did not move a single appointment.”
Pierre-Yves M.
Notary's office, Tournai
“Shop opened towards France and towards Flanders in the same month. Page titles and descriptions came along too, whereas my previous supplier billed those separately.”
Aurélie V.
Online retail, Estaimpuis
“My architecture application called for the degree and the transcript in sworn form. I paid slightly above my estimate, but not one document came back to me.”
Inès B.
Student, Tournai
“We had the same set of specifications issued in three versions. The material descriptions do not vary from one to the next, bills of quantities included.”
Gaëtan R.
Engineering consultancy, Antoing
“Checking invoices against quotes is a professional reflex with me. With them I found nothing to flag, and in the end I stopped checking.”
Véronique T.
Accountancy firm, Ath
“An estate straddling the border, with a property left in France. The Belgian deeds were put into the French notary's terms and the legalisation at FPS Justice was handled without me lifting a finger.”
Serge H.
Private client, Péruwelz

“I had my file translated into English for a consultation abroad. The units and the dosages came across without a single error, which was my main worry.”
Luc V.
Private client, Rumes
“The bilingual publication of our tender came down to a few days. The administrative clauses came out properly and no bidder came back to us about the wording.”
Ophélie J.
Municipal administration, Beloeil
“Nationality file: criminal record translated, then the signature legalised. Both announced deadlines were met, one after the other.”
Rachid A.
Private client, Comines-Warneton
“We recruit on both sides of the border and some interviews are held in Dutch. Booking one hour of remote interpreting is plenty for us.”
Hélène K.
Human resources, Mouscron
“In a long-running case, the point is not having to explain the matter again with every new document. We have had the same contact from the start, and it shows in the turnaround.”

Your situation not listed? Describe it in the quote form: you will get a precise answer within the hour.
Look at who is going to read the document, not at what it says. A population department, a court registry, a consulate or a degree recognition service will only accept the sworn version: it carries the stamp and signature of a translator listed on the national register of court experts, together with a statement of conformity that binds them personally. An internal manual, a contract between partners or a website needs none of that. The linguistic work is identical in both cases; what differs is the standing of the paper before an authority.
One hour is enough, Monday to Sunday, for any request arriving between 8am and 10pm. The document you receive carries three things: the firm amount, the delivery date and, for interpreting, the language for which an interpreter is available. There is no fourth line that shows up later.
On the language pair, the field, the volume and the deadline. For a plain translation the unit of account is the word in the source document; for a sworn translation it is the 250-word page, rounded up. If you send us several documents that resemble one another, the translation memory finds the segments already approved, and those do not appear at full rate on the quote.
No, and the two are often confused. Legalisation concerns the sworn translator's signature: it is obtained from FPS Justice and we request it for you, adding 3 to 5 working days. The apostille validates the original document; it falls to FPS Foreign Affairs or to the foreign authority that issued the paper, and that step remains yours. The quote simply tells you whether your file is subject to it and which door to knock on.
That is never necessary. A scan, or a phone photo as long as it is legible, is enough for us to work from, and the translation goes back by email. When the stamped and signed paper is required, it travels by registered post, to Belgium, to France or further afield. Your address has no bearing on the turnaround.
The sixteen municipalities we serve are treated identically, with no mileage charge: whether the assignment is at the Tournai court, in an office in Mouscron, at the town hall in Lessines or on a site in Brunehaut, the journey is included in the interpreting rate. For a document to be translated the question does not even arise, since everything travels electronically.
It depends on the mode. Simultaneous interpreting in a booth takes 5 to 10 working days: two interpreters per language have to be brought together and equipment has to be shipped in. A liaison or sworn assignment is set up almost the same day, and 24 hours is enough for us in most combinations, including when the date falls tomorrow.
Not always, and it is the question that comes up most often here. The border is ten kilometres away, Lille twenty-five, and a sizeable share of the files we handle crosses that line. Administrative vocabulary is not the same on either side: a French town hall, a family allowance office, a notary or a court registry does not know what a bourgmestre, a household composition certificate or a national register number is, and the word commune does not cover the same reality there. So we put those notions into the terms used by the receiving office, with an explanatory note wherever no equivalent exists. Going the other way, a birth certificate or family record book issued in France is prepared for our own counters. The Eurometropolis Lille-Kortrijk-Tournai, officially bilingual, adds Dutch to the equation.
As long as you find it useful, and no longer. Every translator and every interpreter in the network is bound by a confidentiality agreement. Hosting is European and GDPR-compliant; one request from you makes everything disappear. On a sensitive matter we start by signing your own undertaking, and only then do we open the files.
A translation to arrange or an interpreter to book: same form, same turnaround. Free, with no commitment, and at a firm price: what you read on the quote is what you pay.
